Karnataka German Technical Training Institute, Bengaluru (KGTTI) was established in 2011 by Karnataka German Multi Skill Development Centre (KGMSDC) society. The institute commenced it’s training activities from a makeshift arrangement at Dairy Circle until the completion of it’s main building. The centre presently conducts it’s training activities from the main campus located at Nagasandra. The focused skill sectors at KGTTI Bengaluru are Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Automation, Welding Technology, Automobile Technology and Information Technology.  Sister institutes are set up at Mangaluru, Belagavi, Kalaburagi and Hubballi.

All programs follow German vocational education and training standards that are demand oriented and directly imply a close relationship with industry. To provide International Standards and Hands-on training the center is equipped with extensive state-of-art training facilities which are incomparable.

With its world-class vocational training centers, KGTTI has set a benchmark in skill development. The focus is to offer skill-specific training that will help students find excellent job opportunities in the global workplace and encourage entrepreneurship among the youth.

This KGMSDC society is established by Government of India and Government of Karnataka with technical support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH – International Services (GIZ InS). KGMSDC is a registered society formed under Society Registration Act 1960. The registered society has members from Government of India and Government of Karnataka, complemented by local stakeholders and representatives of industries, chambers and academia.
